Skilled in a range of subjects and specialising in either primary or secondary education, our tutors are trained, experienced and all hold valid WWCC. ach offering their own skillset. Backed by the support of our Director of Education and a range of study resources, they are armed with excellent support to best assist every student they tutor. Our tutors are patient, intelligent, empathetic educators each specialising in their own area of learning.

Jemma Joseph
Jem has been tutoring English since 2010 and is the centre's Director of Education. Graduating from Curtin University she is a wealth of knowledge gained during 15 years as an educator. ATAR English is her area of expertise, having successfully assisted over 1000 students in achieving their academic goals. Teaching in NSW, VIC and WA, she is well-versed in teaching NAPLAN, OLNA, GATE, PTE, ATAR and providing general assistance for students aged 5-55. Always looking to improve the application of pedagogy at the centre, she provides support to all of our tutors.
Stephen Lee
Stephen is our in-house Shakespearean expert with a degree in teaching and over 40 years experience as a Shakespearean actor, director and educator. His kind, gentle nature paired with Mensa intelligence makes him the perfect person to help students understand the works of William Shakespeare. English, literature and drama are all subjects requiring students to comprehend and write effectively on the works of Shakespeare. Stephen is Perth's best resource on how to achieve this.
Kyla Squirres
Kyla is a proud and passionate tutor with a band of devoted clients who have been thrilled with her results in the areas of ATAR English and literature. While she shines when tutoring ATAR subjects, she is also highly capable and effective when tutoring students in years 7-10. A confident and outgoing person, her extraverted and friendly personality encourages her students to warm to her quickly. Thus, her ability to develop a genuine bond with her students is great as it leads to increased motivation and engagement with their English studies. Currently completing the Juris Doctor Criminal Law degree, she is committed and approachable with the belief that every student deserves the opportunity to excel in their studies. She works hard to help them all achieve that goal.
